International Yoga day

Its funny how you get stereotyped based on your skin colour, ethnicity etc . While i was in India people asked me if i was from Kerala to North east India to Bengali to anything other than a Bangalorean . I did not quiet get it how i looked so different to them and for me i looked like a typical Bangalore Girl .In Australia  , sometimes i get people asking me where am i from ..which makes me laugh and reply Indian politely. I have been asked if i was from Fiji,Mauritius, Singapore etc .. Irrespective of what my passport says i am still Indian coz of my Skin colour .

So the other day i was in the train with my earphones on , listening to some romantic song and trying to fall asleep . This lady sitting next to me stares for a while so i just removed the headphones and looked in her direction . She asked me if i was Indian ..I was like yeah with a smile and trying to shake my head in disbelief how she wanted to ask me such a lame question and spoil my precious half an hr nap time . She then continued to ask where did i go for Yoga session as it was International Yoga day ...I was taken aback , because i had no clue that it was a yoga day , had i known i would have brushed up on some Yoga skills . I said "No,  I don't do any Yoga" . The lady next to me looked at my face in disbelief , like i hurt her sentiments . She told me she meditates and does yoga and it has benefited her a lot . We both smiled and i nodded in agreement .

It was a funny encounter as a White lady was telling a brown one benefits of Yoga :)

Romance in the lift ..

Growing up i hardly watched movies , over the past 18 yrs i have been a movie buff and catch up on every movie belonging every language, irrespective of language barrier i just watch them with or without subtitles . I am a bit weird that way .
I'm hopelessly romantic and all my fantasies run in my head all the time ..so i have had this crazy idea , thanks to some pathetic movie , of being stuck in a lift with a good looking guy ...When i was single i hoped every other day that i would meet this real hot guy in leather jacket and cool shades ( not sure why he would be wearing his shades in the lift) stuck in the lift with me .
So this happened few days ago , I was running late to pick my son and got into this shady lift at work and it stopped at 17th floor and a tall good looking guy got in ..i just looked and kept staring at my phone as i was running late and then the lift comes to a halt. We are stuck .  Did i miss a beat ?? Did i get scared a hug him ?? NOOOO Nothing happened i kept banging all the buttons and trying to push the door , He just told me to calm down and someone will get us . It wasn't even 2 minutes and the lift started again and we reached the ground floor . As embarrassing as the whole incident was im still hoping i don't bump into him in the lift ..he might look at me and go "ohh there goes the crazy woman!! "

Wobbly Tile !!

Have you ever walked on the pavement and stepped on a wobbly tile and stepped again and felt happy ? If not try it ..I'm always stepping on the wobbly tiles , it gives a child like pleasure .Nobody needs to know , gives you cheap thrill .
Like i mentioned earlier i do love to test the tiles when i walk , this afternoon i stepped on a tile near the traffic light and it wobbled and i giggled to myself , yeah i thought no one saw it but a gentleman , who was all suited up give me the weird glance and then smiled .

Go find your wobbly tile and let loose ;)

Aliens vs Humans

I am a space enthusiast..yeah i really am intrigued with the way the universe is and how insignificant we as a race are, who are living and destroying our planet.I get super excited when i read articles about some new discoveries related to space .Mars mission makes me believe we could find some interesting news soon or who knows we have already made some discoveries which the government doesn't want us to know.
I do believe in the existence of parallel universe .I do believe we aren't alone and species greater than us have visited and lived amongst us ..can't quite tell if they continue to live between us or have left us to fend for ourselves.
I read an article yesterday about how Roswell was real and the incident actually occurred ,for someone who watched this series n was in love with the main protagonist.This news is as good as it gets . We might soon hear Smallville was real and Clark Kent wasn't an art of fiction :) or the Gods weren't just written in books and they walked the earth way before us , maybe the answers are all written in the Vedas for us to explore and understand them better .

Bored !!

I think i have midlife crisis, coz im simply bored. I dont wanna go achieve something or make the moolah...All i think of doing is eat n watch youtube and read every news article that is reported .Ive recently downloaded Instagram so that's my new toy to play n explore .I do sound like a 15 year old without any direction.
.I have over 400 friends on Facebook of which i have spoken to 10 or so in the past 1 yr...so i have some rules for Insta..i will make sure i add only the people i wanna be "Friends" with ..Friends doesn't include family :) .
This blog of mine is to kill time when i travel or have some shitty thoughts when the food i eat doesn't get digested and it reaches my brain and reacts with the neurons to come up with new topics
